Oxford East International School celebrated the sacred tradition of Palkhi with great devotion and cultural pride. The school campus resonated with the rhythmic beats of dhol-tasha and chants of “Vitthal Vitthal” as students, dressed in traditional attire, took part in a vibrant palkhi procession.
Through bhajans, abhangas, and storytelling, the event beautifully conveyed the spiritual essence of the Warkari movement. The celebration not only honored Maharashtra’s rich heritage but also instilled values of faith, simplicity, and community harmony in young hearts.
